Jerry Ford, 1913-2006
Gerald Ford was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1948. Prior to the 1964 congressional election, his Congressional district was comprised of Kent and Ottawa Counties. This was changed when Ottawa County was removed from, and Ionia County was added to his district.
